Postdoctoral Research Fellow Position in Visual Analytics for Manufacturing, Denmark

The Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University is seeking applicants for a 30-month Postdoctoral Research Fellow position, focusing on Visual Analytics for Manufacturing.

This role is part of the Center for Anytime Anywhere Analytics (CA3) initiative, led by Professor Niklas Elmqvist and funded by a Villum Investigator grant.

The successful candidate will collaborate on developing visual, ubiquitous, and immersive analytics solutions with external manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities include leading research projects in visual analytics, human-computer interaction, and data visualization, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic community through publications and presentations.

Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field by the start date.
- Strong background in web-based software development and data analytics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with manufacturing and production companies.
- Expertise in cloud computing platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure.
