Offering a grant of 200,000 CHF for doctoral students' salary costs over three years, with ETH professors covering the 4th year and related research costs.

Eligibility includes meeting general entrance requirements for doctoral studies at ETH Zurich, experience in the selected research area, and citizenship in low- and lower-middle-income countries. Supervisors must be ETH professors with a guaranteed position for the project's duration.

Research projects should focus on developing methods or products with a direct impact on underprivileged people in low-income countries, considering the ecological, socio-economic, and cultural context. Partnership principles require substantial commitments from all involved, focusing on low-income country collaborations.
