The Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) is offering two fellowship positions focused on Robotics and Applied Machine Learning as part of the EU project Ergo Lean GA 850932. Located in Genoa with connections across Italy and the US, IIT provides a truly interdisciplinary research environment.

Fellows will join the Human-Robot Interfaces and physical Interactions (HRI2) Research line, led by Dr. Arash Ajoudani. The research will involve developing novel algorithms for intelligent and adaptive control of collaborative robots in dynamic human states.

What You'll Do:
- Engage in theoretical and hands-on research.
- Contribute to lab projects and support general lab activities.
- Prepare grants and publish research findings.

Qualifications:
- MSc in relevant fields with a strong background in collaborative robot planning and control, computer vision, applied machine learning, etc.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python, experience with ROS, and familiarity with version control tools like git.
- A publication record and excellent command of English.
