All this comes with the excitement of living off the grid in the Southern California Desert. You can live in nature, and find yourself through mindfulness and yoga, all while working on your course project. The campus itself is built within camping areas and academic buildings in the middle of the desert, next to the Salton Sea. The area is powered by solar panels and complete with high-speed wifi. There is no need to worry about complete isolation as Mars is a one-mile distance from a small community. Students live in RVs and campers and are encouraged to practice self-reliance and take control of their own welfare and happiness.
