The Global Youth Climate Training Programme (GYCT) is a free, capacity-building initiative aimed at individuals aged 16-35, empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to engage in international climate policy. Participants will gain insights into key climate issues, including Climate Finance, Loss & Damage, and Adaptation & Resilience, and engage in interactive workshops with leading experts.

This project is a collaboration between the Global Youth Coalition (GYC), a coalition of climate youth changemakers, and researchers at the University of Oxford (Oxford Net Zero, Oxford Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment).

- Eligibility:
Aged 16-35
Experience in climate activism
Understanding of the UNFCCC process
Strong advocacy skills
Passion for climate action

Free and open-access training
Sessions in five languages: English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic
Bursaries up to £3000 for COP29 attendance
Collaboration with Oxford researchers and global youth changemakers
