The Indo-German Science & Technology Centre (IGSTC), a collaborative effort by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Government of Germany, invites women researchers from India and Germany to participate and collaborate in ongoing R&D projects without the need for fresh project grants. This initiative aims to address the underrepresentation of women in STEM fields by promoting and retaining women researchers through building scientific capacity and utilizing complementary expertise.

Eligibility:
- Women holding regular/long-term positions in academia, research institutes, or industry in India or Germany.
- Open to all career stages, with a preference for Early/Mid-career researchers.
- No age limit.

Program Highlights:
- Applications accepted year-round.
- Participation in ongoing R&D projects with host team acceptance.
- Open to all STEM areas.
-Funding for basic project requirements, including research staff (for Indian awardees), consumables, and contingency.
- Tenure of 3 years or until project completion, covering one visit per year for a short stay up to 1 month.
- Financial assistance includes research stay costs in the host country (airfare, visa fee, medical insurance, per diem) up to ₹ 39 lakhs/€ 48000.
