Invest India, under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, collaborates with various government initiatives like Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG. The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (OPSA) to the Government of India, established in November 1999, aims to provide pragmatic and objective advice to the Prime Minister and the cabinet on matters of Science and Technology.

The AGNIi Mission, part of the Prime Minister’s Science Technology and Innovation Advisory Council, is a programme executed in partnership with Invest India. It focuses on engaging national priorities with Indian technological innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Role: Website Manager (Full-time)
- Website Handling (75%):
- Support the IT and Digital Services Specialist in vendor management for OPSA.
- Curate relevant and accurate news and articles on global S&T matters for website updates.
- Write and update weekly blogs and articles related to OPSA's mission and the broader S&T landscape.
- Update the Latest Updates and Press Releases sections of the website.
- Collaborate with OPSA officials to ensure website content aligns with OPSA objectives.
- Implement website analytics tools to track performance metrics and inform future enhancements.

Communication Responsibilities (25%):
- Provide editorial support for OPSA outputs including the annual report, newsletters, and press releases.
- Coordinate internal communication and content management within OPSA.
- Support partnerships and external relations with stakeholders from academia, industry, international organizations, and other governments.
- Implement a social media strategy to enhance OPSA's online presence.
- Create engaging social media content to increase audience engagement and awareness of OPSA’s initiatives.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and feedback, adapting strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a government agency dealing with Science and Technology.
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Science or Engineering, preferably in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Good understanding of the science and technology ecosystem.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing vendor deliverables and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills for reviewing website content.
- Basic understanding of web technologies, HTML/CSS, and digital tools for website management.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration and conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in producing high-quality infographics and posters for social media.
- Experience in preparing FRS, SRS documents, and UAT processes.
- Experience in bid process management and IT procurement, preferably through GeM.
Understanding of IT infrastructure and networking.
- Experience in IT project implementation in client-facing roles and working with government organizations.
- Proficiency in English; fluency in regional languages is an advantage.
- Interest in popular science writing and blogging is a plus.
