The University of Pisa offers two exciting research grant opportunities, co-funded by the Tuscany Region:

1. EPICMAP - Artificial Intelligence for the Efficiency of the Industrial Production of High Performance Engine Components: This project aims to enhance AI's role in manufacturing processes, particularly for high-performance engine components.

2. CLOUDADV - Cloud Advisor: Artificial Intelligence for Cloud Process Optimization: This initiative focuses on optimizing cloud processes through AI to reduce inefficiencies in cloud services usage.

Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a master's degree by the time of application.
- Be under the age of 36 by the application deadline.
- Open to all nationalities, emphasizing gender equality and equal opportunities.

Highlights:
- Contract Duration: 24 months for both grants
- Gross Annual Salary: €30,000 for each grant
- Funded by FSE+ 2021-2027 resources and part of the Regione Toscana's Giovanisì project.

Research Activities:
- EPICMAP: Work includes mapping production lines, data collection through IoT, and machine learning model development for factory process efficiency.
- CLOUDADV: Focuses on the use of continuous machine learning methodologies and artificial neural networks to optimize cloud service consumption.
