The course "Technology Ventures: From Idea to Exit" (Eng-Sci 134) offered in Fall 2024 at Harvard University, is designed to guide students through the life cycle of a technology startup, from inception to exit. It is held every Wednesday from 12:00 pm to 2:45 pm in Maxwell-Dworkin Room G115. Instructors Spencer Rascoff, co-founder of Zillow and Hotwire, and Josh Lerner of Harvard Business School, leverage their extensive entrepreneurial experience to provide a hands-on learning approach.
The course is ideal for students interested in founding or working within new technology ventures, those pursuing research in entrepreneurship, or individuals anticipating roles in investment banking, venture capital, or private equity. It covers critical topics such as evaluating startup ideas, raising capital, scaling businesses, and successfully exiting through sales or IPOs.
